We rented this house for five days for my family
The house was very nice, with a great location, not too far from the city and ski area.
We prefer not to eat out, and the kitchen had all the necessary appliances. We cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, and the heater in the house was very easy to set. There were extra electric heaters in each room. The balcony had a great view, and my grandkids enjoyed playing with the snow. Also, there was a grill where we made steak and burgers. The outdoor jacuzzi was very nice for our older kids to enjoy

The property is fabulous top to bottom. Kitchen is amazing and well equipped, more than enough glassware, cups, and place settings. The property description is very accurate. The property was spotless upon arrival and in excellent condition. It is a short drive (less than 10 min) into Breck and the south gondola lot. We were initially concerned about this aspect, but it is not an issue at all. Especially considering the comfort of the property at the end of the day.
I don't typically write reviews about products or companies but I have to mention Summit Mountain Rentals. The customer service received from SMR was so impressive. Every person I communicated with was friendly, courteous and professional. Check-in and check-out are effortless and I received an unobtrusive text to check our satisfaction with the property shortly after settling in for our stay. I highly recommend both the property and the management company!

Wow what a beautiful home filled with everything we could need! We stayed in this home for several nights with another couple. We loved it! It was cozy and inviting, clean, close to Breckenridge but quiet enough to enjoy nature. A fox was in the yard one afternoon and we saw a moose early one morning. Amazing views of the mountains! Great communication with host team and they attended to service call quickly when we had a beeping smoke detector that we couldn’t reach. Hope to bring a few more friends to stay again next fall!

Our family, two children and spouses and five grandchildren had stayed in Breckenridge four years ago and had a wonderful time. This year for our 50th wedding anniversary we decided to have another family outing to celebrate this special occasion. All family members were available for the first week in August. So we began planning for finding a large rental unit for that time. We went online to find out what was available. There were several properties that we evaluated. We found the Quandary Estate near Breckenridge would meet our needs. We were not disappointed in any way. It was perfect. Family members enjoyed golfing, a zipline, hiking, using the sauna, eating out and touring the town of Breckenridge.

This is our 2nd visit to Quandary Estate. It might just be on our must do list every year. Last time we came with our kids and this time we brought friends for an adult getaway. I asked the rental company to please check all features were in great condition and they delivered. It was all perfect, not one issue. This house has a million dollar view and a comfortable space for everyone. It’s impeccably done and we just love it. Access to town and the Quandary climb are simple. And a moose strolled by the house one morning. This is best of both worlds, luxury and nature.

Our extended family of 12 stayed recently at Quandary Estate for a week. We found the descriptions and photos of the home to be accurate. The large table was perfect for our gathering at mealtimes, and the open kitchen / living and dining area accommodated us for group activities as well as for meals. The deck and table heater expanded the living space – great for conversations over early-morning coffee in the cool mountain air looking out to Quandary Peak. (A few more chairs / seating would have been welcome for a group of twelve.)Over the span of a week, we enjoyed a couple of catered meals, dined out, brought take-out to Quandary, and cooked a couple of evening meals. The kitchen is extremely well-furnished for a vacation rental. (Add a food processor and it would be perfect!)
Several of us enjoyed the hot tub, which was serviced while we were there, clearly well-maintained and ready to use. And the ping pong table provided hours of entertainment.
Upon arrival, we had some minor issues to resolve at the property. The property management firm (Summit Mountain Rentals) actually had someone on-site when we arrived, and the rep resolved a number of small problems and more. (We had hoped for his return later in the week to figure out why the gas fireplace was not working, but he did not re-appear.)
As mentioned in another review, the water pump was the only annoyance. Do other homes in the area use the same system? It disrupted sleep the first night, but most of us got used to it over the course of the week.
Our group appreciated being only a short drive from Breckenridge (5 minutes) and the home’s amenities while ensconced among the trees in a quiet development, far enough from other homes not to be disturbed or to disturb. While we were there, work started on clearing the lot directly across the street for construction of a new home. This will likely bring some amount of noise to the area. We would definitely spend a week at t
