Breckenridge Mountain Retreat
While driving to the property we missed the initial turn to the property as our location services were not updating as quickly as needed. We went 1 turn past our property and took that turn. We followed for a bit and decided that if this was our property we were going to forfeit our reservation and find a hotel. After our gps updated, we realized that we went one turn too far and retraced our steps to find the correct turn. When we arrived, we were very happy to find that the access was easy and the property was exceptional!! Beautiful home with all the amenities with access to biking and hiking trails and still allowing privacy and nature to exist in harmony. Major hiking and biking trailheads were within 1/4 mile. Our kids and grandkids enjoyed the trails immensely. The property has a super deck with hot tub and views of local wildlife. While on the deck we saw chipmunks, foxes, hummingbirds and even a coyote. Loved it all and will return. The only improvement we would recommend would be an new non-stick frying pan and more detergent for washing. We had grandkids who loved the hot tub and wore us out on keeping the towels fresh! Loved the game and rec room. The grandkids were occupied and happy with amenities! Overall, a great experience and we will return. Also, there are a lot of hummingbirds in the area and it would be great to have some feeders to induce them to the deck area to watch during the season.
