One Month In This Home
My family of 5 spent a month in this house with our dog. The location was 10/10. The house was 10/10. We did have a minor issue during our stay, but Summit Mountain Rentals took care of everything promptly and professionally. I would 100% recommend this house to anyone.
The house is three stories, Master bed/bath on the top floor, Kitchen/Living on the middle floor, and two bedrooms (with queens) and a den with two bunk beds on the bottom floor. Bathrooms are located on the top and bottom floors. The Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. We cooked an average of 4 nights/ week with no issues or missing tools. I will say that the grill struggled to get to a temperature that I would have preferred, but it was still usable for grilling steaks and burgers (I just had to cook them a couple of minutes longer than I'm used to at home...not a big deal).
Walking was super easy everywhere in town. The gondola is less than a 5-minute walk (across the street). The Grocery store is also less than 5 minutes walking (also across the street). The only time I got in the car to go somewhere was to the Rec Center. Aside from that, walking and the free trolley took us everywhere. The Trolley stop is about 100 yards down the street, or the main bus station is next to the Gondola (5-minute walk).
Overall, great house, great location, kids and dog enjoyed the home. We will 100% be back.
