Great Views
My sisters and I enjoyed a relaxing long weekend at this home. The views are incredible as others have noted. A highlight was the fire pit on the back deck (once we got it working). We looked forward to grabbing blankets and snuggling up in the evening and watching the stars appear. My sisters complained of the comfort of the beds in the master bedroom and downstairs room with the stove, however my bed was very comfortable in the room next to the bunk room.
We used the hot tub a couple times. It's new and has lots of features.
We saw two moose a house over.
There is a shortish hiking trail opposite the home (~ 1 hour -- Barton Creek Loop) and you can see hikers coming down. Highly recommend.
As with any rental, it will show wear and tear over time. The furniture in the living room shows it. The kitchen needs a good overhaul of supplies and organization. Lots of lids that don't have a matching pot...etc. And if the windows had been cleaned, the view would have been even more spectacular! That said, surfaces and bathrooms were very clean. I would definitely stay again.
